Well, the front door bell rang and it turned out to be a beautifully presented cake box brimming with a wonderful array of sweets and savouries. There was a cheese scone, a cherry scone, grandma's bajan fruit cake and a bajan coconut sweetbread. Along side the scones was a plum and pear chutney, which all sound divine.
I couldn't pick a favourite as they were all equally delicious, however, the scones were absolutely incredible...10 out of 10. The fruitcake was reminisce of a wedding cake seeped in rum, which came a close second for me and then there was the coconut bread which I imagine would go down excellent with kids as well as the parents. Devitt's Food proved to be an amazing selection and the perfect choice...so different yet incredibly homely suited for the table as much as in front of the fire.

Grandma's Bajan Fruit Cake, a perfect balance of fruit and rum, I'm not usually a fruitcake person but this cake I could eat again and again. Perfect wedding cake recipe also.
Bajan Coconut Fruit Bread, this bread, a Bajan tradition was a delight to taste, we loved it and my daughters favourite of all.
Cherry Scones, who knew scones could be so lightweight and fluffy and taste so amazing, we will definitely be ordering more of these. Best scone we've ever had.
Cheese Scone with Plum and Pear Chutney. This savoury Cheese scone took me by surprise, having never had a cheese scone before I am a real fan. Beautiful delicate cheese in a fluffy scone, couldn't get enough of this, another favourite for us.
Plum Pear Chutney, compliments the Cheese scone perfectly, not at all tangy and almost jam like. Can't wait to order more of this chutney as would be lovely with cheese and biscuits also."
